Ancient Ruins seen on Mars Rover images

I have looked closely at the images from the NASA Mars Curiosity Rover taken on Sol 78, which is the 78th day of the mission. There are many artifacts and objects seen on these images which are obviously not just rocks. These objects have been made by someone or something. The martian landscape is in fact littered with the remnants of what must be an ancient civilisation which seems to have been destroyed by some cataclysmic event. There are pieces of carved stone which resemble the decoration seen on Gothic architecture here on Earth. If you look at the decorations on the stone pillars of churches and cathedrals you can see similarities in the ruins left on Mars. On the face of it this seems impossible, but the evidence is there, lying on the surface of Mars. I have simply taken the original images which are available on the NASA website and enlarged them, and boosted the contrast to show these objects more clearly.

Face on Mars
This looks exactly like a face. However, I don't think it is. I think it is two seperate objects combined which give the illusion of a face. But there are other objects in this image which are interesting, for example, the object to the right of the 'face' which is symmetrical and has some sort of ribbed pattern on it. It should be noted that these objects have been lying on Mars for thousands, if not millions of years and have been subject to erosion over that time.

Carved Stones - ancient ruins on Mars
These stones show a lot a very sharp detail. You can see where there are symbols cut in relief around the stones. These cannot be said to be just rocks, or a trick of the light. These are stones which have been cut into very intricate shapes. You can see this a little more clearly on the image below. The colour change is because I boosted the contrast which alters the colours slightly.

Gothic Carvings on Mars
The slightly green colour on this object can be seen in many other objects on the Martian surface. It seems to indicate that these objects are made from metal or stone which is distinct from the surrounding area. In some ways it resembles cast iron but is probably some other material. Again, notice the symmetry in the object, not only is the entire object symmetrical but the individual carvings within it are also symmetrical.
